Winter-Ready Hair Tips

As the weather cools down, it’s time to switch things up — not just your wardrobe, but your hair too. Winter is the perfect excuse to grow it out, keep it clean, and level up your grooming game. Here are five winter hair trends we’re seeing in the shop right now.

1. Keep the Length (But Clean It Up)

Winter's the season to let your hair grow a little — but that doesn’t mean let it go wild. Tapered sides and a bit of extra length on top give you warmth and styling flexibility, without the bulk. It’s all about balance: tidy, but not too tight.

2. Textured Crops Are Back

Textured crops are low-maintenance and winter-approved. Whether your hair is straight, wavy or curly, this cut gives it shape without too much effort. It’s the kind of style that still looks good under a beanie.

3. Grown-In Fades

You don’t always need a fresh fade to stay sharp. A mid or low fade/taper that blends into slightly longer hair on top looks relaxed but still clean — and it gives you more time between appointments. Perfect for those winter weeks when you're not trying to be out in the cold too often.

4. Beards That Actually Look After You

Winter dries everything out — especially your face. Keeping your beard shaped and hydrated is a must. Beard oils, butter or balms and finished off with some clean lines are what’s keeping our clients looking sharp (and feeling fresh) this season.

5. Scalp Care is Underrated

Winter can dry out your scalp fast — leading to itchiness, flaking, or irritation. A solid home routine makes a big difference. Switch to a moisturising shampoo, use a scalp scrub once a week to clear buildup, and massage in a few drops of hair oil to keep everything hydrated and healthy. Healthy scalp = better hair, simple as that.
